Hi! I’m Ruqaiya.
I’m an Ammi (mom) of 3, who worked in AI software sales and strategy in San Francisco.
When generative AI and ChatGPT hit the scene, I quickly recognized how transformative it would be for everyone - not just the folks in tech. I also realized that many people could be left behind—especially those outside the corporate world.
That includes full-time caregivers, community leaders, educators, and small business owners. People doing important work, often without access to technology or educational resources geared specifcally to them.
I started ammi.ai because I believe everyone deserves an accessible, relatable, and practical AI education. When we understand what AI is, how it works, and how to use it wisely, we can show up, speak up, and help shape what comes next.
The key to that is AI literacy. It's how we join the conversation, and how we build a healthier future with AI, together.
