I'm Umaima – a toddler mom, small business owner, and an advocate for simple living and slow crafts. Obsessed with organization and systems? Guilty as charged! (Yes, my storage bins have QR codes, and my desktop files are a sight to behold.)

As a mompreneur on a budget, I've mastered the art of getting things done without breaking the bank. I’ve found several free AI tools and features that have been game-changers.

Also, as a toddler mom, I try to keep my own screen time as low as possible so I can be more present for my child. But lately, it seems impossible to get things done without the phone: Amazon returns, Target pickup, doctor appointments, etc.

Juggling mom life and entrepreneurship is no joke. So here are my go-to FREE AI tools and features for organizing thoughts and to-do lists while keeping my screen-time minimal. Who knew AI could be this mom-friendly?

1. ChatGPT Voice-to-Text Transcription

This feature is a lifesaver for those moments when my brain is overflowing with lists and tasks, but my hands are full with toddler duties. I can simply talk or brain dump my thoughts, and ChatGPT transcribes it all. No need for typing or staring at a screen—perfect for busy moms!

2. ChatGPT Vision

Just upload a photo and ask a question to solve everyday problems. For instance, I can snap a photo of a new toy that needs assembling, and ChatGPT will find a helpful YouTube tutorial. Instead of spending 10 minutes scrolling for the right guide while my toddler waits impatiently, I save time and stress. ChatGPT truly feels like a personal assistant/best friend every mom needs.

3. Siri for Voice Commands

Siri is the queen of handling my shopping lists and to-do lists. She even reminds me of things I need to make a list about! With Siri, I can schedule tasks directly in my calendar or reminders app, and she’s my go-to for setting timers and alarms to keep my day on track.

4. Google Lens

Google Lens identifies all sorts of things my toddler gets curious about, from strange bugs to different construction vehicles. It’s like having a hands-free, screen-free encyclopedia! Recently, we’ve looked at plenty of rolly pollies and garbage trucks. Plus, Google Lens helps me digitize important documents or artwork, keeping my space clutter-free (I love a clean countertop).

For me, ChatGPT isn't just a tool; it's my village. From voice chats for brain dumps to making packing lists for my next trip, it's my free personal assistant.
